We work with Lehigh and Northampton County Medicaid, Lehigh County Single County Authority and Community Care Behavioral Health. We also accommodate out-of-county residents and offer self-pay options.

Appointments for assessments are available to be scheduled by phone or walk-in from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Take the first step towards recovery with LV Intake Unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an assessment?2024-08-29T16:21:24-04:00

A drug and alcohol assessment is a thorough interview process designed to identify the need for counseling services. The evaluation process will address the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual ramifications of the growth of drug or alcohol abuse, tracing it to its very roots. The assessment process provides linkage, monitoring, and follow-up services to ensure that clients receive timely access to and smooth transfers through the continuum of treatment.

How many times do I have to come here?2024-08-29T16:21:05-04:00

The assessment process requires just one appointment. If it is determined that treatment is necessary, a prompt referral to the appropriate services will be made.
